These finishes are suitable for use in areas where you want natural materials and simple lines. For this reason, it is ideal for a minimalist

environment because of smooth uninterrupted continuity. We have combined an application technique with a flooring material to achieve an excellent compromise which retains the aesthetics of antique concrete while adding the durability of modern day living demands.

Our training will cover substrates, primers application methods, special effects and sealing the flooring products over a 2 day period.This course creates the aspect of polished concrete easily,with the application of thin but extremely durable decorative layers, applied with a trowel over existing wooden, concrete and ceramic flooring. During this course you will be learning various finishes. 

These products can be applied over almost any existing hard surface.

During your course you will cover the following

Day 1

 Introduction

 Product History and Technical Data

 Tools, Mixing

 Site Preparation

 Application of Primers and base coats

 Review the core products of the Micro Cement system

 Identifying the different substrate and preparations needed

 Testing of understanding of the products

Day 2

 3rd & 4th coat flooring application

 Application of colouring systems to walls and floors

 Application of finishes.

Where can these products be used.

Bathrooms, kitchens, stairs, hallways, or bedrooms. Care must be taken to avoid damaging it as you would for any floor made of wood, tile or soft stone. It is naturally a non-slip surface, but special anti-slip treatments are possible. It has a smooth lightly polished finish, which has a translucent look. Cleaning is extremely easy. The final effect depends on the protective treatment. Applied in three to four coats depending on desired finish.Supplied and applied by Venezia Stucco. A hand crafted seamless smooth and decorative floor coating. Suitable for decoration of both modern and historic buildings. Comes in a wide choice of colours. Can be customised. Drying and application times will vary due to site conditions.Substrate:Suitable for almost any hard surfaces such as Cement, Concrete, Marble, Wood or Tiles. All substrates need to be fully cured, free from dust, salts, oils and other impurities.Substrates to be prepared by others; contact Venezia Stucco for substrate advice. This finish will not stop structural cracks appearing on the surface. All expansion and angle beads need to be fitted by others. The seamless polished finish offers a smooth floor covering in keeping with Venetian traditions. This is an ideal alternative to tiles as joint lines can be a thing of the past. Applied in three to eight coats depending on desired finish.
